Day 2 of lockdown

 Today for our writing groups we were working on descriptive writing. I learnt how to make my stories sound more exciting to read.

My persuasive writing

This is my persuasive writing it is about you need to have an opinion and have in argument and evidence  . It is about whether the Olympics should go on or not. I think that it should go on because you would have a chance of going to the Olympics. You  might have chance of getting a medal. And you would have worked really hard to go. What do you think should it go on or not. We did this because the Olympics are going on right now. I learnt some of the sports and some of the Olympic peoples names.

Wacky hair day

 Today at Kaniere School we and red nose day. It was for kids with cancer. I did my friends hair Amber. I had really wacky hair my mum did it for me. All my other friends had really wacky hair to. We all got a photo and we also got a class photo.

The big slip

 Today when I was picking up the horses poo at our house I found a BIG BIG slip it was very scary. We did not hear it. 

Term 2

This term we have been learning a lot of things in ruma Piwakwaka. We have been learning a song called E tu tangata with a lady called Rachel. It had a rap in it. I think it was hard and fun. We have also been doing persuasive writing. About Matariki on should it or shouldn't be a public holiday. I said it shouldn't because it would cause businesses more wages. 

We have also been doing place value in maths with Mrs Hickford. It was a little bit hard but I liked it. We have also done PE with Naomi. We have been learning about soccer. We played Simon says and we have been playing tidy your room. We have also been doing scruplt gl. We had to make a creepy alien I made one that was not that scary but funny. We have been doing kahoot we did maths and animal one the maths ones were really hard but I did my best. we have been doing google music lab were you have to beats it was really fun. We also made flax boats for our sausages is was really good my flax boat could properly hold 3 sausages. We were also taught by a health nurse how to sneeze into your elbow and cough into you elbow.  Matariki happened this term and we did some art and  it was so pretty when it was finished.

 This is my pony Jackson. He is a Shetland pony. I went to a cowboy challenge in Reefton. We did all 10 obstacles. In my class for overall I got first place

Matiriki week

 Today we made animation about Matariki. We had 3 videos to choose from. I chose the 7 kites of Matariki. We could have buddies but I worked on my own. it was a little bit hard but fun. 

And we also made flax boats by weaving the flax.  I helped 4 people do it. We used 12 pieces of flax. We helped the juniors to complete theirs.
