day 3 of lockdown

 This morning I meet with my class on google hangout. I then had maths with my group and learnt about consecutive numbers. They are numbers like 1,2,3,4,5 or 91,92,93. They are always only 1 number apart. I thought it was fun. Then after that I draw a picture of a play ground and did my gratitude writing. I also started colouring in the pictures on our toilet paper

Matiriki week

 Today we made animation about Matariki. We had 3 videos to choose from. I chose the 7 kites of Matariki. We could have buddies but I worked on my own. it was a little bit hard but fun. 

And we also made flax boats by weaving the flax.  I helped 4 people do it. We used 12 pieces of flax. We helped the juniors to complete theirs.

    

Matariki art

 Today we made Matariki art. I will tell you the steps to make the Matariki art. These are the materials 

1 news print

2 pencil

3 scissors

4 images of a mountain

5 black paper

6 pastel chalk

7 stick on stars

8 hair spray

9 white mounting paper

10 glue stick                       

First get a image of a mountain. Second get your newsprint  and draw a  mountain  range. Thirdly cut out the mountain range. 4 get your black piece of paper and get the pastel and push up. Then get your Chromebook and find the Matariki star pattern. Lastly stick your stars on.  

Onomatopoeia ART

 All of our class is doing onomatopoeia it is art that is a word that makes a sound. The word that I did was NEIGH. It was a little bit hard and really fun. First  we cut out our words then get our backgrounds then we cut out our newspaper then glued our words on and then panted around the newspaper.

home learning /video challenge

I made a video of my dancing. I love dancing.

Cardboard challenge

This is my box creation. 

First I painted the inside of the box blue and green. Then I used fluff as clouds and hung them through the roof. I cut some cardboard up for a seat for my swing. I put some little stones as a path and then painted some mountains. We made a little house out of an egg carton for the rabbits house.

This is what i made for my art on Friday. I  made a dog out of paper and fluff and paint and sticks for legs.
