Showing School Values

My mum was in bed and not feeling well. I wanted to make her feel happy so I made her a cup of tea and some snacks and a card. I love her.

I showed Rangatiratanga by thinking about what I could do to make her feel better and by making a hot drink all by myself. I showed Whanaungatanga by taking care of someone I love.

  1. Hi Lacee, I am so proud of you! You showed our school values so well! I bet you mum felt so much better after making her a hot drink and making her a card. Did you find it hard making a hot drink?

  2. Hi Lacee
You are so kind! You definitely have shown our school values. I am sure your mum would have felt better by getting a nice cup of tea. It always makes me feel better. I love your card and all the thoughts you had, on how you could help your mum feel better. Did you carry the tray to your mum by yourself? That takes some good balance too, as you could spill the hot tea!

  5. Kia ora Lacee,
Wow what a kind, considerate, caring, and thoughtful person you are! It was such a lovely gesture to bring your mum in a cup of tea and some snacks when she wasn’t feeling well, and I’m sure she appreciated it very much!
It is great to see you showing your school values, even when you aren’t able to be physically present in the classroom. I can already see from reading the comments on this post how proud your teachers are of you for showing both Rangatiratanga and Whanaungatanga, so ka pai for your efforts!
You mentioned how you made your mum some snacks, and they look so delicious sitting there on the tray. I can see there is a cracker and a piece of cucumber. What is the spread?
You also mentioned how you made the cup of tea all by yourself. What was the procedure you followed to make this drink?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
    Keep up the great work!
    Nga mihi
